Jimmy5491 Okay, so I replaced my stock bridge with the mustang part and it fixed all of my previous problems, except it sapped the sustain out of my low E, is there any way to get it back, without switching the bridge back?
Mad-Mike Sounds like you need to increase the string angle over the bridge. I say shim the neck and raise the bridge.
paul_ well if it's the same string that you had on before you swapped the bridge, try a new string first.
Jimmy5491 Haha, well I solved the problem, by fixing a stock saddle in place of the mustang one, and the sustain is back to normal. Looks slightly odd however 😛 . But it's certainly better than having a lifeless E string.
