Disappearer Just wondering, what make of amp would I need to get a Cantrell-esque sound? Like the kind of really thick, dense distorted tone... the song I can think of which most demonstrates this is Junkhead.Thanks. 😁
Richie Jerry uses a Bogner Shiva for the most part. So maybe look into getting an Alchemist? I dunno what to compare Bogners to to be honest other than other Bogners.

Disappearer Thanks guys. I love Jerry's tone, it really makes the sludgy doomyness of the third album especially even more sludgy and doomy.

ModNuB I know alot of studios uses Peavey 5150s or even Classic 50s for lots of really high gain heavy sounds. They are fairly cheap to find on CraigList and seem to remain under the collective radar of most guitarist so the price isn't inflated too much on the classic 50s. Not sure if they would "nail" that sound but it should get you close and with a few choice pedals you could land even closer.
Disappearer Hmm, I might end up getting a Peavey then if they're that much cheaper and sound similar... Thanks guys.
