As with everyone my GAS changes all the time, but I try to limit it to what I feel I actually need.
For a start amp-wise, the Selmer is currently out of action, I fiddled about with the innards a bit too much and have decided that I'm going to do a major rebuild as I get round to installing the new output transformer (which arrives this week, hopefully). Once I've got that working I need to rebuild/ fix my Big Muff since that dodgy power supply fried it. I'm also considering getting a new chassis/ cab built for the Selmer as the original one is a complete wreck and I'd like it to match my Zilla cab.
After those are fixed, new stuff is going to include:
- Korg Pitchblack tuner
- Boss RC-2 loop station
- TC Electronics Nova Delay for bat#### insane delayness
- MXR Carbon Copy for good honest analogue repeats
- undetermined chorus pedal (been looking at vintage Boss ones though...)
- Digitech Whammy IV
- Roadrage switching kits, i.e. individual pedal loops and an ABY box for channel switching.
- since I just saw the GMD demo, I LOVE the Devi Ever Ruiner and want its kids.
Round those off with a Diago Tourman pedalboard and Diago power supply.
I'm also thinking hotter pickups in my SG, I'm currently rocking a Bare Knuckle Riff-Raff in the bridge and a Lace Sensor Gold/gold Dually in the neck. Thinking getting a matched pair of Bare Knuckle Holydivers with a coiltap on the neck. Also thinking black covers on them.
Possibly also putting a Bigsby on my SG, but we shall see...
But once all that stuff's done, that will be my setup pretty much complete for life, until I decide to give Zilla a call again and have them build me a 4x12, but then I would have to find two more Celestion Rock Driver Pros, which are proper hen's teeth now.
