Anyone ever play a Tele FMT hh?

I have my Jag classic player HH on craigslist and was offer a blue FMTHH in trade.

I do like teles and lp's and this looks to be a combo of the two.

My question is: Has anyone here had any experience with these and could you offer your opinion?

I have one:

Really great guitar!!!!!! Very versatile.

It handles everything from: ''Metal, Grunge, Punk, Rock/Classic Rock, Blues to Jazz and Funk'' etc. And you can even split the hummies....... 😛 + It stays very good in tune.

In my opinion: ''Korean made Fenders sound way better than Highway One Fenders and those Customshop Fenders etc.'' But that's just me....... 😉 + They are a lot cheaper. 😆

But i've never seen a blue sparkle one before though?????? 😲

And if i where you i would ask/check if those pickups are really Seymour Duncan instead of something else. Normally it has a SH1-'59 in the neck, and a Pearly Gates in the bridge stock.

Thanks for all the input. The pickups are aftermarket and he no longer has the Stock ones.

The other thing I found odd is all the ones I see online have fret markers and binding. This one doesn't.

Were there lower grade ones?

Can't he tell you what kind of brand + model those aftermarket pickups are? Don't get me wrong it's a gorgeous guitar but as you say the neck lacks the binding + fret inlay and i've never seen one these guitars without neck binding + fret inlay.

If you do decide to trade it, better play it first or at least let him ship his guitar first so you don't regret it....... 😁

Heard back from the guy. the pups are GPS? I never heard of them. Did a quick gioogle search and found nothing.Guessing they are Generics.

Koren guitars are well made.

since you already have an HH tele, I'd keep your Jag.

unless the pickups in your Tele and the blue tele and drastically different, or different bridge.

I have two SSS Talmans. one has a more strat bridge, it sounds more thin and jangly than my other Talman.
