I've tried the little Vox, both as a combo and the head&cab.
they have BALLS
and they're very meat&potatoes kinda amps.
another amp I liked around the same price range was the Orange Crush.
if you go with that, spend an extra $30 and get a jack installed, so you can use the amp with bigger cabs. cuz the amp inside is pretty powerful and could drive bigger speakers.
