Joey Detune the strings, remove the 4 neck pocket screws and take a peek at the date stamped on the neck butt... or use the serial number dating on Fender website

jacksonjackass Tell us the serial number and wether it is crafted or made in japan. This will only give you a rough date, like 1997-1998. You can get what month and year it was made by looking at the stamp on the butt of the neck or the neck pocket.
