NBD (New Bass Day) Fender Jaguar Bass!

your just the man to ask this question to then.

basically i occasionally play bass ( I'm alright at slapping and stuff) and the bass i really want is a jazz bass, cos i love that in between sound which Jaco etc made famous.

However, as much as i love the jazz bass, i think the jag bass looks so #### cool.

so, Would you say that the Jag bass can achieve the same tones as your Jazz Bass?

the jag bass has 70's pickup spacing so it's going to be a bit more trebly that a standard jazz. also it has a bit of a neck dive but that's no big deal. the most different thing is that you only have 1 vol so you can't blend pickups like on a jazz.
