WindsorCircle Are the mustang reissues the lightest? Or even any of the squiers are they the the lightest like the new Duo Sonics? I'm looking for the lightest Fender or Fender/Squier guitar. Please help thank you
Fran Out of the available models i'd say the Squier Duo.Some of the old Musicmasters are very light as are some Mustangs.

Doug The Mustang slab body was thinnest up until about 1969. And was almost always made of light Poplar. My bet is those are the lightest Fenders, or comparable to the light Duosonics.

Fran I think the Duo, more so than the 69 RI Mustang anyway and that has contours so im guessing its lighter than a 65 RI.

Disappearer Before you spend money on those hot Air Sensors, I heard you can get similar tone out of a hair dryer. They're also pretty hard to solder.
