Lake Placid Blue Competition Mustang RI -Matching Headstock

This is a 2008 Competition Mustang - I bought it from my friend who was moving to the other side of the world. I'm a lefty but had to pick this one up cause of the rareness of the matching headstock and for nostalgic reasons (identical to Kurts in the Smells Like Teen Spirit video)

I'm having a really hard time deciding whether I should alter it for lefty use and drill strap holes and flip the nut or if I should sell it to someone who can enjoy it in it's mint form? Please help me decide - I'm totally torn and it's driving me crazy!

It really depends on how much you like it. If you really love it, then keep it and mod it, because if you sell it you might regret it before long. It's always better to go for it than never know.

Well, if it's one of those guitars that as you play it you're thinking: ''Omgzzz... this is one of the best guitars in the whole world.'' Then you shouldn't sell it. (if i was you atleast) 😉

I've mod-ed a white mustang for lefty already but it just doesn't feel right when I'm holding it...used it on some recordings and it worked great but not my first choice when playing live - I need 100% comfort onstage which leads me to consider selling this blue comp before altering it.

It originally came from Japan but I had it shipped to me from a freind who had it in Seattle. Like I said, I'm strongly considering selling it if you're interested. Again it's a RI but I was thinking $950? It's as good as new except for a tiny spiderweb hairline fracture in the clearcoat on the butt.

hey i would just keep it the way it is i recently played on a vintage one and they look and sound cool play it but take care of it
