I'm still using my 333XL, the only problem since the clip fix (I resoldered the wires straight to be board, it's much harder to melt copper and fiberglass) is I blew a tube this past fall back when I was still running the thing in a huge room on 10 most of the time, I think that's one reason for a lot of my problems with the amp was that I was driving it at the red-line all the time and pushing maximum power as much as possible.
I may pick up one of the new ones one of these days, but the 333XL has turned into my amp of choice just because it has the sound I like. The only thing is, the TriRec has MIDI, which would be better for a tech savvy guitarist like me, but the 333XL has the sound I prefer. If they ever updated the 333XL with MIDI, or someone ever came out with a MIDI Retrofit for it, I'd jump at it. I would not mind being my own Bill Bradshaw.
