The blender came! Feedbackismyfriend read this

So the fender blender came to my house and the first the i said when i heard it was OH MY GOD 😆

I just have a couple of questions for feedbackismyfriend

1: Did you have the original or reissue?

2: what settings did you use?

3: without the tone boost mine seems a little muffled, it is not bad but is it normal?

Hows the volume drop? is it as bad as peolpe say?

I don't have any "volume" drop really. Also I figured out that the small muffled sound without tone boost , was just because the chord I used was bad....it's going right on my pedalboard (the ground in front of a mic stand). But it is CRAZY. the book it came in has a bunch of settings in it like one is called 'Kiss The Sky' which I am guessing is for a hendrix sound for purple haze

glad you like it dude. With the toneboost off it always sounded pretty muffled to me too (could be because I'm cheap and just use the least expensive cables I can get at my local guitar shop, but I think it's more just the nature of the pedal) also I can't really recall my exact settings, cuz everytime I used it I pretty much tweaked it to suit my mood. But a lot of the time I had the fuzz/gain/whateveritscalled knob maxed and the blend knob somewhere around 6 or 7 with the toneboost on (I pretty much always had the toneboost on). But ya with the Blender I'd just recomend tweaking with it.

I only really noticed the volume drop with the boost off. If you cranked the knobs up pretty high you could compensate for this without using the boost, but I noticed it just sounds better with the boost on.

Also dude check out some of the lower gain settings, they can be pretty cool too. Plus, you can drive some other dirtboxes pretty well with em.

Dude...It is an Insane pedal! I plugged it in to my little 15 watt practice amp at first and it turned it into a monster... I plugged it in that amp because it was at night but I ended up cranking the little thing up pretty loud.

Oh I haven't gotten around to calling him yet sorry.... I'll get to it prolly l8er tonight or Thursday....

Also, my first night with the Blender was a pretty similar experience

Just make be more clear...You had the reissue right.... and yeah dude I was all mad because it was like 5 days after i ordered it and it wasn't there and i was storming around the house and I went upstairs and my dad was like "Your pedal came" and i was like REALLY!!!!!YEA!!!!

the Malekko Omicron Fuzz, Death by Audio Fuzz War, and Deep Trip Kryptone are the pedals I'm really gassing for atm u should check em out if ur really getting into this whole fuzz thing

Omicron Fuzz is a superfuzz clone. Makes a change from most SF's being in pretty big.

B:assmaster is a Maestro Brassmaster clone. It's dissapointing how small the Assmaster is in comparison to the Brassmaster.

I have no fuzz gas at all. Modulation ftw

nanoverb doesn't do delay or modulation. or at least it shouldn't be set to do either.

Yeah. Even I have my little GAS list. Boss CE-5, Blackstar tube disto and a bogner fish and various other large amps that I'll never be able to afford in the near future. This only because they don't do many smaller amps with the same sound.

Thing is, all of that is such low priority, that if I want chorus, I have an ME-50 to provide the cheapo sound. I don't use FX anyway unless its in recording or doing a soundgarden cover.
