Warmoth jagstang body with fender jagstang neck ?

Hey guys, i just bought a fender jagstang, and i'd like to keep the neck and all the electronics but change the body for a warmoth one (cause of the contours). I'd like to know if any of you know if the neck will fit proprely with the new body (bridge, etc...) Thanx to all of you 😀 !

also... what type of wood is best ? I know the original one is basswood, but it seems fragile.

Changing the body is a little drastic. Consider adding countours yourself and refinshing if you really want to.

I agree. Does seem a bit drastic. How much do the warmoth bodys cost?

I don't mind the lack of contours tbh. I kinda like the 'slab' feel of the J-S.

Only because of the original neck.

And the original body being an uncontuored slab of basswood which it was never supposed to be in the first place.

then just get a warmoth body and have it designed the way you want it

If you wanna change the body then I say go for it. It's your guitar so do what ya want and make something unique! The parts should fit fine with the warmoth body. You could put the old one up on ebay or something and get some cash back.
