We get a lot of new people (and regulars) asking about wiring issues on these guitars. Without detailed pictures its sometimes really difficult to diagnose a problem unless it is something fresh in someones mind. I repair guitars for a local store and sometimes it can take hours of fiddling around and staring at diagrams to find the problem.. you need patience!
The best way to diagnose a problem yourself is to compare your guitars wiring against a detailed diagram like those found on the Seymour Duncan website.

This is the Jaguar diagram, its clear and fairly idiot-proof to follow.

Im not intending to kill future discussions on this topic, just hope it gives people more initiative to solve problems themselves which will save them money in the long run.
