That's a Stratocaster vibrato bridge, or a hardtail? The Strat vibrato system is, in many people's opinion, superior to the Jaguar/ Jazzmaster system, anyway. For better tone, if you have the Stratocaster vibrato, you should look into replacing the [probably skinny and lightweight] cast vibrato block (under the bridge, where the strings go through, and the springs attach) with a vintage big block- or replace the whole bridge unit with an authentic vintage-style one. Sounds like a good deal, to me! What kind of pickups does it have?
