distortion pedals, whats out there?

If i ever got a Timmy or whatever... I would only get one (if i was lucky enough) and then try it to see what all the hye was about, then flip it... Not for the sold purpose of making money, but because i just wanted to try one and may aswell sell it if its worth something

Well considering Twins take pedals really well, and it's an overdrive pedal which emulates an overdriven AC30, probably pretty great. Too much treble might be a consideration though I guess.

The Peachfuzz clone is awesome, i prefer it over my Roger Mayer. In fact its possibly the best Fuzz i've owned which includes Fulltone, Dallas-Arbiter, Shin-Ei and plenty of others.

Any idea what the CC Distortion is a clone of?

I thought it was a crunch box, but seems not after all. There was talk about it being an Xotic BB Preamp clone, but then lots of people decided it wasn't. It might not be a direct clone of anything, who knows. It is very Marshally though.

Yeah, i picked one up cheap a few months ago, seems decent but not really spent anytime with it. I think if Dano had a Cool Cat series Delay available i'd be tempted to go with that whole board i have, the Chorus and Fuzz are awesome for the money.

the chorus is a slightly tweaked CE-2 afaik.

for the price of the cool cat pedals, the delay would probably be naff.

What roger mayer fuzz do you have, fran? the mongoose? axis fuzz is definetly the nicest RM fuzz if you ask me...

I have the Mongoose Fuzz and its going up for sale. I'm broke and the Peachfuzz has'nt got a good resale value so i may as well keep that.

i'm likeing the idea of an ibanez tubescreamer actually,

the ts9 model looks good, not sure about the ts7, and the 808 and new 4 knob one are a bit too much.
