i would say you can minimize the buzzing by going to 11guage strings.throwing heavier strings on is not the total solution.the stock bridge needs a proper set up and possibly some mods(shortening grub screws,correct intonation)and a neck adjustment.ive spent hours with mine and its still far from perfect.one of these days im just going to get a mustang bridge and be done with it. i know some people on the board dial them in correctly and never have a problem.me,i think the stock jap bridge is a big headache.
