I just ordered a dakota or candy apple red early 80's USA Fender H 1 bullet guitar from Guitar Center's used gear section for $200. It was advertised as a 7/10 as far as condition, so it will no doubt have signs of play wear and some finish imperfections. It's definitely a strange looking beast. It has a smallish strat-shaped body, maple tele neck, and a weirdo bridge+pickguard bridge. This model only comes with 1 Bucker in the bridge, but it does have a coil tap button for single coil sounds. I've been on the lookout for a red cyclone, but I couldn't pass this up for only $200. It should be interesting to see what this thing sounds like. Come on UPS truck! 😬
