The Gorillaz (sort of) on The Colbert Report

The Gorillaz (sort of) performed on The Colbert Report last night, and one of the guitarists (the non-Mick-Jones one) was using either a Mustang or a Duo-Sonic II. Video:

it definitely had the switches the bridge piece looked sort of like a duo-sonic's but I'm not for sure (as i'm no expert)

I'm not an expert on this "virtual band", but I know for a fact that he played guitar on their latest album. Paul Simonon played bass as well.

Once again, I know nothing about how the Gorillaz and the concept of a "virtual band" works. I was watching The Colbert Report, half paying attention to the interview when I heard, "former members of The Clash" I immediately started paying more attention.

Im glad to see that gorillaz is performing live again, it's one of the many things I've wanted, like them releasing a new album. Hopefully this continues
