Pup ideas for classic HH Jag?

Just got a MIM classic Jag HH. Love it! But...I do want to change the pups. Kinda on the fence over a few ideas. First idea is single coil vintage jag pup in neck and a jb humbucker in bridge. I love the single coil sound in the neck so I thought that might sound good. Second is a Seymour D vintage strat pup in neck (had one in my tele. sweet!) and jb humbucker in bridge. Love a glassy punchy tone. Or..should I stick with two humbuckers since i can split the neck humbucker? Does a split humbucker REALLY have a single coil sound? Gonna be playing thru a Bogner Alchemist and playing some heavier stuff (Muse, Radiohead). Love glassy clean tones but love heavy full distortion from a humbucker. Help? So many choices.

Also, Don't want to lose too much of that jag sound. I know the trem and all that helps but u know. Dont want a jag just to mod it and make it sound like a strat.

maybe... oops i think thats for a single coil jag. why not just slide in some seymour duncans (super distortion/jb etc.) i like SD's 😁

If everything goes right, i will have a Olympic White Jaguar in 2 weeks.

Since i find the stock Jaguar pickups kinda thin sounding, i will put eighter a Seymour Duncan Jaguar pickup or a Hotrail in the neck, and eighter a Dimarzio Super Distortion or a Seymour Duncan Distortion pickup for the bridge.

So maybe it's a idea for yours? 😉

Ooops. yea sorry. first post. wrong section. But yea you hit on a few ive been checking out. A JB Humbucker in bridge and either a SD 1/4 pounder or Fender jaguar pup in neck. I like SDs too. Had a SD vintage strat pup in the neck of my tele. amazing!

Will do, hope i get a reaction soon. Because he said he could maybe deliver the guitar to my house so i can try it first etc. Otherwise he could ship it to me as well next week i believe. 😀
