That Bigsby kit costs almost as much as the guitar. The thinline is a great guitar.

That really is a cool guitar.

I was gonna put a Bigsby on a tele but I canned the idea, simply because I never use the vibrato bar.

But it sure would have looked cool 😁

I just saw the tele in my guitar center catalog, and it was going for like $170ish. I'm thinking of getting it, and making it into a nashville tele with Laces.

I looked at that candy apple red tele on labor day weekend. Unfortunately, the tele was already pretty gacked up by lookie lous.....it's bigsby was jacked up a bit and the paint did not look fresh at all....it looked like it had been in the store for months and had been rode hard and putaway all sticky like.....

I was not impressed with any of it except for the price....

I bought the Laguna.

Damnitt, I went to guitar center new orleans on labor day and i siad i would like to purchase the exclusive silverburst telecaster. And they said we don't have any and he got the manager. He said do you know anything about an exclusive silverburst tele? The manager said oh yeah we sold out about 6 months ago. I said huh? They came out today, I drove 2 and half hours here for this and it says in the flyer you mailed that they were here starting labor day. WTF?

May i ask if you played the silverburst?

The bigsby tele was there but i wasn't impressed in person. Picture of that one i find looks better than the guitar imho.

I did play it, but I wasn't impressed with it either....I tried it out on the Frontman25 I bought that same day.....but the Laguna just felt better in my hands and I really liked it's crisp clean tone....It was twice as clean as the Silverburst and my up close inspection, proved it was really well made....The SB tele was impressive looking, but not the look and feel I wanted I suppose...I still like tele's too...just not that one....

Thanks for the info. I think after seeing that reverend buckshot my mind is made up. Do you know if the guitar center where you are has the 52 reissue tele with the Seymour Duncan mini humbucker? I played one here and it felt perfect and sounded even better. Laguanas looked well made to me, glad you like yours.

There's two stores I visit here in houston, both of them have just about all the popular models, but call them first of course to make sure....I myself, would not know it if I saw it unless someone told me what it was I was looking at. 😡
