Hi there. I'm pretty new to this forum, but bought my Jazzmaster about 3 or 4 months ago. She's a CIJ 62 RI from 96 or 97 and has custom wound Seymour Duncan pickups. I really love a lot about this guitar; the playability is great, the finish is flawless, and I can dial in some cool tones. My main complaint lies in the middle pickup setting. The bridge is pretty bright and crisp (a tad thin for my taste) but the middle setting is even brighter and a lot thinner, whereas i'd expect it take more of the low/mid from the neck. Is this how all Jazzmasters function or do I have some faulty wiring by chance? The selection at this point is really useless to me because it's just so thin. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
