Hi, everyone. I'm new to the Jag-Stang forum and just got my first Mustang.
I just picked up a 69 CIJ reissue in Competition Red. Pics below (or it didn't happen).
To start, I have a really simple question. Looking at the "date my Mustang" sites, it shows two groups:
first, if your headstock says Crafted in Japan and the S/N has a P + 5 digits, it's a 1999-2002 model.
Or, if the S/N is P+6 digits, it's a 1993-94 model.
Mine has the Crafted in Japan marking on the back of the neck, not on the headstock. And, the S/N has 6 digits but includes a leading zero.
I'm assuming that's a 5 digit number and is a 1999-2002 model, but wanted to verify that.
The S/N on the back of the neck is P088152 (as shown here).

thanks for your help!
