Rare Tornado?

I came across this rare Tornado, it's sunburst Made in Korea and has the USA Seymour Duncan P-90 pickups instead of the normal humbuckers that are normally to be found in Made In Korea models. (instead of the SD P-90's)

It looks like it hasn't been refinished? (judging from the Fender logo on the headstock)

According to the seller it might be a prototype model?

Can anybody tell me if this is indeed a very rare Tornado, because i don't believe they where made in Sunburst? 😕

Fender logos are easily obtainable on the web. Likely that is a custom job, although there were some jags similar to that released some time ago in japan.

To my eyes, that does not look like a genuine Fender. I hope it's not the same seller that was trying to sell you the Tele a few weeks ago.

Also, please, Serious Cat, try to practice typing 'Toronado', instead of 'Tornado'.

Its 4 real. Looks like a USA Toronado with 'dove' pickups. These are rare and there was one with a maple quilted top as well.

I'm sorry i recently found out it's spelled Toronado instead of Tornado. (still a stupid name they should have just called it Tornado imo)

Im not 100% sure which model it is Robb, its not the first one like this ive seen though.

Wished i'd saved pictures of different models, could've built up a decent wiki page.
