as far as your question goes you could prolly get by with either, so the question is do you like single coils or humbuckers better? I personally would go with the single coil one cuz in general I like single coils better, but you could also get the one with humbuckers and mod it so you can split the coils. Or you could just be like, "I like humbuckers better" and go with that one. Honestly, I've seen every one of the styles you've listed played with both single coils and humbuckers (excluding ska as I've never seen a ska musician's rig, but that seems like a style that you could do with either as well).
