changed pots, and now the volume only changes tone.

Hey all,

I changed the pots in my Jaguar to a 500K volume pot, and 250K tone pot. The change sounds good, but now the volume pot only serves as a tone knob, and does not turn the volume down.

I did not change anything else, I rewired exactly as it was wired before. Is there something I should change? Caps or resistors?

Also, if I want to add a treble bleed, is there something else to change were I to make add the mod?

I had similar problems. I found that I was forgetting to check to make sure nothing is touching something it shouldn't. Like bare wire crossing over another.
