1981 Gibson Sonex Deluxe, Made in USA. Silver w/original hardshell case. I bought this out of the local paper for $300. It is essentially still new, there is plastic under the pickups still. The guitar has faded so it almost looks gold in some spots. This thing can really play, though, it sounds just as good as any Gibson I've ever played - I think it's because of the Dirty Finger humbuckers. You can't see it because of the bad photograph, but it has one of the funky old 'The Gibson Guitar Company' logos. I love this guitar.
Is this considered a vintage guitar now? It's 25 years old and has been out of production now for about the same amount of time.
I've also got a newer black Jagmaster. It's not that great, but it can take any amount of beating that you throw at it. Looking at this thread, though, makes me realize how much I need a Jag or a Jazz.
