My Ovation bass arrived last friday. I still have to swap the nut over, but it has a nice thumpy sound. Checkaaat the Mosrite style ridges.

That's pretty damn cool, I want a bass with a trem 😈. If yours goes missing and I suddenly have a new one it's a total conincidence OK, just to clear things up first! 😛

Heh heh. Those kahler trems go for about 300 bucks on their own; I'm guessing that would equate to the same thing in pounds if it were over here (i.e. real money).

Nah, which is why I'm flipping it over. There are two holes for the trem arm, which is handy, so I can put the arm on the lower one for ease of use.

as for the strat..my bro always uses it but its mine..since he's lefty, he puts the strap button for a lefty..this is untill he finds his lefty..i seldomly uses the strat..i'm not sure what series it is..but i think 70's era coz it have a large headstock ( which I don't like ) 😀

as for the tele..it was my 1st project for spraying my own guitar..but i'm thinking about getting a new colour fot the tele..

the strat's headstock/nut area and the end of the fingerboard near the neck heel suggest it's not a real fender. when did you get it? it looks "relic'd"
