Except the neck, it's laquered. But he bought that ready made.

sometimes it can get in the way but when your playing clean slow chords that you can afford to move your hand to trem its great, the guitar plays like a dream and has an awesome bluesy tone, the action came set up pretty high but I lowered it and changed the pickguard. I love my SRV It gets great tones just like SRV.

yep the Jag is a Fender Japan Custom Shop KDC and an awesome guitar! Its got the Nirvana sound but oh so much more!
