Don't get me wrong, I think Les Pauls are well-made guitars, but they're just not my thing. They are just too damned heavy to gig with...I like moving around and standing up straight after playing for four hours straight. When I do use it, it's mostly for recording, but I will play a song or two with it during certain gigs, but to tell you the honest truth, I'm a Stratocaster man. The pickups in that LP are pretty damned sweet sounding though; there's tones of sustain/tone with that paticular axe and that's why I like recording certain tracks with it (Although my 1962 RI-MIA Strat is far superior, hellz yeah).
Not trying to knock LP's here, folks. Just sayin' that they're just not high on my list of guitars I like to use. Rock on to all those that do use them, though 😎
