Here is a bass I built about 13 years ago. Its a 5 string bass I made in wood shop when I was 16. It needs a good cleaning and some strings.

What woods did you use dude? not my thing but it looks exotic.

The dark wood is Koa and walnut, and the rest was maple and ash, and in the center you can't really tell, but its a bright red wood, My teacher at the time said he thought it was blood wood or something like that, he wasn't sure.

hey everyone, new poster but long time observer, here is most of my collection:

i also have a jagmaster that was not present for the "photo shoot" haha. theres an ovation celebrity deluxe you can just barely see on the edge of one of the photos as well. plus a couple little projects in various states of (dis)repair.

It looks like it has a quilt top so I'm inclined to think maybe it was a "guitar of the week/ month/ whatever" that they did. I'll wait for its owner to tell us though before delving into speculation.

the green guitar is a "gibson' les paul custom. but even being a "gibson," it's a great playing guitar. it has all new guts and authentic gibson pickups. i was actually quite impressed with the quality when i got it.

If i bought a les paul custom i would expect a lot of quality. Not even the tiniest of flaws for that price...
