To Stang or not to Stang

Afternoon all,

Im umming and ahhing about getting my bridge replaced on my newish MIM Jag HH. Im going put on a set of skinny top heavy bottoms and get it set up by tech, and was wondering whether its worth replacing the TOM bridge for a Mustang one at the same time??

Anyone had any experiences with anything similar?

I'm fairly sure that would require some minor routing work for the thimble bits that the mustang bridge sits in. Also, the MIM Jags having a TOM bridge is kind of supposed to be an upgrade over mustang/ jag bridges anyway so I'm not sure why you would want to change it.

Thanks Richie. THB, I'm just getting a load of intonation screw rattle and wonder if there was anything else worth a try before getting the vasaline/pritt stick/chapstick out and wodging it on! But if you reckon theres some routing that needs to be done, I'm not interested!
