hi i'm new to this forum, actually new to any of these 'thread' type of BBS so i wasn't sure if i had to find another topic related to this or post one up. well, I just posted one... 😳
ok so, i'm preparing for a project Mustang and i'm at the last part choosing pickups.
so there's EMG 'X series' SX neck pickup, and a Dimarzio Cruiser bridge pickup.
and i'm about to have Lace Sensor Gold pick up coming home. The Lace music products home page says it could be used as all positions, but they recommend bridge.
the specs are;
Lace Sensors Gold
Resistance: 5.8k
Peak Frequency: 3600
Inductance: 2.4 henries
dunno the magnet 😕
and
DiMarzio DP 187 (Cruiser Bridge)
Wiring: Standard 4 conductor
Magnet: Ceramic
Output:143mV
DC Resistance: 5.75K
well the EMG one.... couldn't find in their site.
so
1. Lace Sensor as neck, Dimarzio as bridge?
2. Lace Sensor as bridge(as recommended), EMG(which kinda awkward for Mustangs?)as neck
