LEFTY JAG-STANGS

I myself am righty in most things but I play guitar lefty, and its become apparent to me, that trying to find a lefty Jag-Stang SUCKS.

In 2001 Fender Guitars stopped making the Fender Jag-Stang. In 2003 they re-started production - minus left handed Jag-Stangs.

This is why it might seem to you that finding a lefty Jag-Stang is immpossible. And It nearly is! So if you want to see this change go to http://www.petitiononline.com/kc2a20/petition.html

I'm sick of this sh|t Fender is doing with the Jag-Stang. It was ment to be a good left -handed guitar and it should still be made for lefty's.

Don't hate me - not to rub it in but took me a while to get these two - one is "MIJ" and the other (better condition is) "CIJ" - Love em both to death. If ebay doesn't work, do a broad search on Craigslist. Takes some patience but worth the determination - ps i've signed that petition at least 4 times lol

Are both those the same? i.e. stock? same pups etc?

If i had two the same i'd have one stock and another totally modded to hell and back!

Both Stock - Just got the second one about 3 months ago - to tell the truth, it's been sitting in the case but I do have some plans for modding the hell out of it (without causing any damage to the body of course) Any suggestions on humbucker and neck pickups that would fit in snug? SD and Hotrails seem to be the common choice but wondering if there are some good alternatives? Also, any suggestions on a hard case that would fit a lefty JS?

dun have any suggestions as far as pups go, but it might be cool to rip out the controls out replace the first pot with a concentric pot that functions as individual volume controls for each pup and put a toggle in place of the tone pot.

you could then use the slider switches for something else or get a new pickguard from wdmusic without holes for the switches.

I'm not a lefty, but I can DEFINITELY APPRECIATE WHAT YOU HAVE!!! That is VERY impressive!! to have not just one but TWO lefty Jag-Stangs ?!?! That's pretty much UNHEARD OF!!! They are truly works of art!!! I wish you all the best with your two beauties 😊

That's awesome - very creative idea - toggle in place of tone knob!! This would cost some money to rewire..maybe in a few months if i make this a priority to save up for..i will do something like that for sure.

Personally though - I love how it sounds on it's own. With the right combo of amps and pedals this thing sounds amazing as is.

Cheers man! - yeah, not easy. Spent many evenings online and enquiring at local music stores to track em both down. They are works of art. Personally I hated them when they initially came out - but that was 14 year ago and I was 15 - I also hated wine, whiskey, and fine cheeses back then ....an aquired taste for sure 😉

I mentionned this before - I don't like giving exact prices. These are NOT from custom shop - both are original issues.

Got both at different times but combined around $1500 for the two...took some research for sure.

I'm definatley interested in any lefties for sale. And thanks to all who commented. This site has basically been my home for about 1/2 a year now, a very community oriented site, I love it. On a side note, my birthday is in about 6 days, so I need a decent priced one fast! A lot to ask isn't it? hahahahaha

Well, I admit, seeing 2 lefty Jag-Stangs in one place made me cry a little. It was beautiful. You are lucky, not just to have those, but because I'm confident I couldn't get away with stealing them. hahaha

Ha! Nice 😀 - and besides, I took some precautions and bought two human-purposed caskets - and burried each one 6 feet under in two seperate places - worried that even I won't be able to find them ;P

I have a Fiesta Red Lefthanded JagStang

I have buy this one from a guy in holland for 450 euro

He was the first owner of the guitar and now iam the owner

And i can tell you its not so difficult to find one.

When you buy one on ebay you can never see it or play with it

The buyer will send you pictures of it but pictures are pictures and you must see it with you´re own eyes and play on it

Thats my advice
