Bought a Tele blackout a couple of weeks ago, ended up hating it, and posted in on craigslist for trade. Was looking to get a mustang or jazzmaster when a guy messaged me about a Fender Jag-Stang. I asked him to come trade the next day.
I've been wanting one of these for quite awhile, and even though the guitar had some scratches and dings, I still traded him. He had replaced the bridge pickup for a Seymour Duncan Invader which I absolutely hate, but I'm putting the original back in today until I can get a Seymour Duncan JB (which is also what I have in my Les Paul). He also told me that it was a reissue, but after looking up the serial number (T01XXXX) I found out that it was actually made in 94-95.
Still need to get a new pickguard, tremolo arm and definitely want to replace the tuners for some grover locking ones. Its also pretty dirty considering that its a 15 year old guitar and wasn't taken care of as much as I care for my guitars, but I'm gonna get this baby cleaned up, and sounding better.
Heres the starting picture, but im gonna take more before I start anything, and then definitely get some final pictures.
