I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago. I am not a bass player, but i like it very much, and kinda like that it doesnt have to many controls. It has volume/tone for both pickups, and thats basically all I need. I mostly use the neck pickup, wich is a kind of P-bass pickup i guess. The pickups are okay, but not great, but with a good amp it sounds good.
