facetvintage Hello, new to the boards here. hoping maybe someone here will have a answer for me. so far none of my other resources have given me a clue. I recently aquired a very odd fender mustang. I have succesfully dated it to 1967 both the neck date and serial number tell me that. plus it still says pat. pending on the vibrato. the odd thing about this mustang is. it does not say mustang on the head stock. instead it says the words. "EON CLARE" right where it should say mustang. So far i am at a loss. was this a one of a kind? or a error? or something that was custom done? if any one out there might have a idea what this means let me know please. thanks.
BobArsecake Perhaps someone refinished the head stock, and put on their own decal? but yeah, pictures would be best.
