I really should like this but i don't. Seen one up close and it looks too 'forced' for me.

I'd say the Black Epiphone LP Custom with gold hardware and open/black Motor City Angel Dust humbuckers. Get that GE Smith Les paul look. Yeah, I'm that broke....I dream of Epiphone.

I would get a custom shop built Fender Telecaster Deluxe in sea foam green with white binding on both sides and a w/b/w pickguard and have them put a jag/jazz trem on it. And maybe move the switch down to where the vol/tone controls are more like a sg control layout. And have it have a flame maple neck with the big head stock.

my grandfather (recently passed, so i may inherit it) has a nicely aged martin d-28, in natural. it plays so beautifully and its straight from the 1970s. its in like the 3k range i believe.
