...And i cant explain some of the sounds i get. Sound like a Vaccum cleaner, Atari-Nintendo, Race car and it has some good octave sounds to, or turn the 'blend' knob all the way to the right and you get a good fuzz-distortion sound.

Does anyone else here use one?

I used one for quite a while but mostly with all the settings to the right so it was just a fuzz pedal. The blend control is fun but not really useable only perhaps in a 'novelty' situation or maybe a noise band.

I've seen one of these before and at some settings it gets really noisy and hard to use...

But you can get a good Melvins sound out of it(Since Buzz used one).

Two octaves down, but there was a design a fault on it so it loses tracking and randomly jumps octaves/glitches making it sound almost circuit bent. Its very unpredictable, but the fuzz alone is pretty nasty but does'nt sustain well because the pedal also has an inbuilt gate.

It's an oddball with a loyal following.

Yeah, if you have the blend knob all the way left its a full 2 octaves down, but the tracking isnt to bad higher up on the neck, around the 10o'clock position its starts sounding pretty good. and if you turn both pickups on (Mustang) it actually sound clearer. not a bad pedal for $60.

If it's anything like a standard octaver, it'll track a lot better using the neck pickup and picking the string closer to the neck than the bridge- it reduces the amount of overtones that confuse the octaver's processing doobie.

I was making THE best noises with my EBS Octabass and Blender clone yesterday- the upper octave of the Blender and lower octave of the Octabass gives the fattest odd sounding lead tone evor. Will have to do some samples 😁

Yeah and i see what your saying about no sustain. i stuck another distortion pedal in front of it and it sustained longer. I have a Compressor Sustainer pedal i might try in front of it and see how that works.
