It will fit fine but the Low E(top one) will still possibly pop out sometimes. I have vintage Mustang, thought the bridge would go good on my Jaguar, top string still pops out.
Get a Gotoh Nashville Tune-O-Matic, file the little grooves a bit deeper and you will NEVER have to bother with it again.
BTW, whenever you raise or lower the bridge, put new strings on or put an entirely new bridge one you ALWAYS have to adjust the intonation.
Doing intonation in no harder than tuning, because well, it is fine tuning that is all basically.
Google "how to set guitar intonation" for many field guides on the subject.
Its simple, takes 5 minutes, and you will sound better for it.
