using jag-stang bridge?

I hate the set up of my fender jaguars bridge with the grooved nuts or whatever you want to call them. All the strings do is pop out of the grooves and it just buzzes or goes out of tune. I've tried different guaged strings and everything and nothing works. I have a 1996 fender jag-stang and was wondering if the bridge from that would fit on my fender jaguar and work? The bridge looks very similiar to a mustang bridge. I've never really modified my guitars before so how easy would this be? I know the bridges just usually kinda come out once you take the strings off but will I need to adjust the guitar intonation once I put the jag-stang bridge on the jaguar?

It will fit fine but the Low E(top one) will still possibly pop out sometimes. I have vintage Mustang, thought the bridge would go good on my Jaguar, top string still pops out.

Get a Gotoh Nashville Tune-O-Matic, file the little grooves a bit deeper and you will NEVER have to bother with it again.

BTW, whenever you raise or lower the bridge, put new strings on or put an entirely new bridge one you ALWAYS have to adjust the intonation.

Doing intonation in no harder than tuning, because well, it is fine tuning that is all basically.

Google "how to set guitar intonation" for many field guides on the subject.

Its simple, takes 5 minutes, and you will sound better for it.

If you get a tunomatic and need help installing it (ZERO powertools needed, it simply drops in, all you need is some tape or aluminum foil) PM me about it for instructions.

Where can I find a Gotoh Nashville Tune-O-Matic. I looked online but got tons of different results for different ones? What exactly does it do? Its replacing my bridge? Is there a specific one I should buy?
