I ####ed up a pickup, help me?

While tinkering around with my guitar I unscrewed my pickup on one side (I know, dumb) and now when I tried to rescrew it back in the pickup is loose at its normal hight and tightens when the pickup is above the neck. I ####ed it up I guess. Help meeeeee?

um make sure the spring didn't pop out of place and if that doesn't work maybe try a new screw

Yup. I would say you have lost a screw. It used to happen to me all the time and it's as irritating as a hat full of bees.

I just hot glue gunned it in place hahaha Probably not a good solution though, thank goodness it was only a Squier
