The only time I`ve had that same problem, was when the tremolo action was way off. You can fix that yourself (although you might would want to re-calibrate your guitar after that). That`s done bringing the tremolo all the way down, strat type, then turning the same screw that`s besides the tremolo 3 and a half turns counter clockwise, I believe. Or 4 turns it`s another alternative. But 3 and a half being the factory standard, or so I`ve read continuously. And you bring it all the way down turning the same screw clockwise.
If your tremolo action is way to strat type, and by that i mean it doesn´t pull back much, the bridge might be getting a lot of pressure, and thus cutting down the strings on the saddles.
