I have a 2007 CP Jag.
It has an MIA trem plate. It seems to have been made during the prototype to production time, at least that is what Fender told me.
On a whim I decided to let it sit in the sun, I know poly is not supposed to react to heat/cooling cycles.
But it has?
It has a spiderweb of lines on both the front and back after two days of cycling.
They run almost vertically.
So I am wondering:
Is the guitar poly?
Is this a finish flaw? The cracks were not there when I bought the guitar in July.
