Never played one. How does it sound?
Hi, Al(ex),
the string spacing is a bit closer than most full-scale guitars...but the fretboard has extra room on the outside of each E-string so those strings won't slide off the fretboard with aggressive playing & bending.
The set-up is done well, to my taste. After 5 hours of playing, I've gotten used to the spacing and the longer neck. The guitar feels solid & tight, even though it's small & light.
More to your question, the tones are fun to play with. The 3 pickup settings (2 P90s), plus the 6 Varitone settings, means I have 18 tones to test out without touching my amp or a pedal. The Varitone includes 2 Tele settings, a Les Paul setting, and 2 Strat tones.
Thanks for your interest... 😎 ...there's lots on the internet about this axe.
