hey can one of you guys figure out that solo/lead/break section towards the end of the song and maybe tab it out.. there is not a single accurate tab on the internet, and i can't seem to figure it out.

You mean Stars by Hum? I'm convinced I'm the only english person in the world to actually own that record. I love it, but nobody has ever heard of it. I'm sure I made a post on the coffeehouse about it to see if anyone knew it and none of you scumfags responded.

Anyway, I can't tab it coz my mates borrowed it. I'll see if I can get it back tomorrow.

yeah i remember it.(obviously) i've had the album since i was young.. i have their performance of the song on the conan o brien show when it first came out. it's buried somewhere in all my vhs recordings.

i really liked it and got everything except that last break down part.. obviously if you know the song you know it's great and you know the part i'm talking about.

ya eric see if you can figure it out... i know what key it's in.. but i'm not satisfied improvising that part, and i can't seem to get it exact.

As I remember, almost everything on that album is in drop D, and if it's the bit I'm thinking about, it's just the low three strings in a muted metal-type arpeggio open and on the 2nd fret, then ----2----4---- on the D. I haven't got my guitar right now, I'll get it in a minute and check.

that "e" note sound off... and it sound like it starts on a D but otherwise i think thats basically it..

if you play it fast enough p.m. that E doesn't sound to bad.

i think it's just like that but with a D instead of an A to start.

that turn around is right on though.
