warmoth FULL SCALE maple neck mustang project PLEASE HELP

i just bought a mighty mite cbs headstock maple strat replacement neck with the intentions to build a strat. But i LOVE mustangs, and after looking at warmoths mustang bodies, it says that their bodies are fit with standard strat neck pocket dimensions. If i get one of these bodies, could i be able to create a full scale mustang with the neck i have?? would i have to lower the bridge?

ps, the only experience i have hotrodding or customizing guitars is a first act i painted in a blue 5150 colorway

The strat neck is I believe a 25.5" while the Mustang neck is 24". It will never intonate unless you move the bridge back. And since the body is routed for the bridge it will require filling the existing bridge route and rerouting it. Better to just pick up a mustang neck. I know they're pricey.I bought a brand new mustang neck from Fender back in the late 70's for about $95.00 and I ordered it with a brass nut (few and far between). Still have it on a Jag-Stang. For your 1st build I would suggest a strat style.

You can omit any bridge routings while ordering and just add them latter by yourself.

This is how I got tune-o-matic + jazzmaster tailpiece on my warmoth Jag-Stang 🙄
