Jaguar Output Jack Help! (Pix Inc)

Hey.

So when I hook my guitar up to everything, I get no noise from my jaguar. When I plug my strat in though, everythings fine.

I assumed that my guitar was the problem, and suspected the output jack.

Ive just opened it, and everything seems to be attached, except for one white cable!

As you can see, the white wire that I am holding isnt connected to anything!

Where should this go!?

anyways there are two lugs and two wires .... the black one is ground wire and the other (white probably) is power wire.

sounds like you have to solder the power wire to the lug with no connection....?

So I just had a fiddle with things, and put the unconnected wire to the jack with my hand and it worked fine.

So now I know I have to solder the wire to the jack. But, the original wire is now too short to connect to the jack, so can I go out and buy any old piece of wire or do I need something special?

Also, there is no sign of a previous connection between the wire and jack! (I know there must have been, but it might have fell off?) So can I just solder the wire onto the jack at any position or is there a certain area I should be aiming for?

use the same cable.... it's pretty simple
