well, with a trembucker, if you were really careful and accurate, you could actually make it so that the bottom of each rear pole and the top of each front pole caught the string vibration and therefore making all poles equally responsive to the string vibrations, much like the pickups on many Fender bass guitars... the standard spaced HB that came with my JS cant aline like that bc of its spacing.. :
