Naww Kurt didn't even like the stock pickups. Lots of people use JB's in the bridge because Kurt used them and/or because they are really cool. Some will drop a SD Super Distortion in. I put a Red-Red dually lace pickup in mine. It depends on the sound you want really. There are lots of options. An X2N might be good because it is blade style so being at an angle shouldn't be an issue. The lace pickups have that bonus too for allignment.
DiMarzio Super Distortion if you like playing heavy #### all the time.
If you vary from heavy #### to clean, back to heavy, get a JB.
