Right now I have been running a rig of just a digitech whammy and a big muff. When I turn the big muff on i get a bad feedback. Is becasue the big muff is too close to my amp?

Also I have been playing white stripes stuff and when I play the hardest button to button While singing through a practics amp I get an octave effect??? How is this possible?

The lower octave that i thought was coming out of my vocal amp is somehow coming out of my Jet City cab

Just stand back from your amp when you play, does it feedback more when you use the neck pickup?

Well... My humbucker is dead and I never had it when I used the bridge ....but what about this weird octave effect???

Coud be from the guitar's electrical being off. Got a buddy with a different guitar to try? If the issue goes away with a different guitar, you could be more certain of the cause.

The valves may have gone microphonic(ie picking up interference from another source). Try swapping V1, they are usually a 12ax7.

That is a good possibility. I have only had a tube amp for a month or so, so I never even thought of that possibility.
