SD Alnico II vs SD Pearly gates vs SD '59

anyone have any preferences/suggestions on these 3 seymour duncan pups? I play everything from slow blues to powerchord thrash, I want whatever is the most versatile of the three....

I would go Pearly gates. If you are able to go in and play guitars with them, that is the best bet because only you know what sound you will really like. 😀

from what I've heard on the internet I'm a fan of both the pearly gates and 59

I went with the SD-5 custom, we'll see how it sounds in reality though....

I got the SD-5 and shined it, going back to the drawing board- probably going to get the SD JB humbucker or the SD distortion-It helps when you live in the same town as Seymour, they bring em to you and pick them up:) by the way, Seymour's birthday was last friday....

I put a SD SH-4 JB in the bridge.......sick! try it!
